I've been gone for forever, and for this I am very sorry.
I wont waste your time with excuses though.
Hallowe'en is my favourite holiday!
I had so many nail ideas that I wanted to try out, I couldn't choose!
So I did them all!!! YAY.
Frankenstein's monster would be more visible if I had used a lighter green...
The vampire teeth were the most difficult, and the ghost was obviously the easiest :)
I hope someone recognizes the famous movie scene on my thumb nail...!
Which one do you like the best?

Lacy
Sorry I've been away for so long! I got back from Halifax last week and have been busy catching up with school work and stuff...
I found some lace while I was cleaning my room, cut out pieces to fit on my nails, and stuck them there with a LOT of top coat.
I like the edgy-ness of this mani, and the emo-ness of is kind of a reflection of how I'm feeling right now; really not good and slightly depressed :( BUT looking at my nails actually puts me in a slightly better mood! Also, since lace doesn't chip :) this mani should last for at least a week.
What's that my left hand is resting on? Why it's good ol' TI-83+ (my scientific calculator).
MATH, I blame you for how horrid I feel right now.
It's depressing when someone who is used to being an "A" student, gets a "C" in a class she actually works REALLY hard in. I feel like a failure.
So how are YOUR lives right now?
Here is a song for you all \/
the video is a little... off... but the song is absolutely amazing. I love it so much <3

Qimmusiq
Hey people!
I'm leaving tomorrow for the Canadian Jr. Curling Nationals! I won't be back for 10 days (missing a lot of school :)
This is the manicure I will be wearing to show off my northern pride (and polishing skills) to the other teams. They are coming from all across Canada, I'm so excited to meet everyone!
I am also entering the mani in the "Show Us Your Country" contest that Parokeets is hosting. The chalange is to make either nail art or makeup art (or both) to show your own perception of your country. I'm excited to see everyone elses country manicures (especialy other people's different takes on Canada!)
I chose to show my favourite part of Canada, the North! It's a dogsled team :) oh! that's what Qimmusiq means by the way, it's Inuktitut for "dogsledding" (and yes, I did have to use a dictionary to find that :)
I'm actually really happy with how this turned out, hope you guys like it!
OK, wish me luck!
And if you find yourself in the Calgary area this week, why not drop on by and watch some curling? You can find the schedule here.

Tyger! Tyger!
This mani was inspired by my absolute favourite poem right now: "The Tyger", by William Blake and by the novel Life of Pi Yann Martel, two works that we just finished studying in English.
Sorry the black lines aren't that neat on some of the nails, I don't have a tiny brush (must pick one up next time I go down south...) so these were done with the tip of a needle :)
Tyger! Tyger! burning bright,
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
If you know any good poems you should tell me! PLEASE! I've become a little addicted to poetry lately :P
